Police are searching for a man who assaulted a Circle K employee Monday night.
According to TPD, the suspect entered the Circle K at 2 W. Valencia and began arguing with the clerk. During the argument, the suspect walked around the counter and assaulted the victim.
When the victim turned around, the suspect picked him up and slammed him on the ground head first, causing a serious head injury. The suspect then punched and kicked the victim in the head multiple times before leaving the store, TPD said.
The victim is currently in critical but stable condition at the hospital.
The suspect is described as:
- Hispanic male,35 to 40 years old
- 5'08" to 5'10" tall, approximately 225 pounds
- Cross tattoo on his right forearm
