Patients at Tucson Medical Center for Children got a special visit from an officer in the U.S. Navy Monday.
Rear Admiral Daniel MacInnis shared his experiences with the young patients and hand out honorary sailor certificates.
"We appreciate the Rear Admiral's compassion in sharing inspiration with our children and families when they're not feeling their best," said Jamie Antrim, a child life assistant with TMC, in a media release.
MacInnis is visiting TMC as part of a two-day engagement tour in Tucson, during which he will share the importance of Naval service with city leaders.
