TUCSON, Ariz. — Three southern Arizona communities were named the best places to live in the state this year.
A top ten list compiled by HomeSnacks included Oro Valley at number four, Sahuarita at number five and Marana at number seven.
The ranking system considered population, median home value and unemployment rate, among other factors.
All three Southern Arizona picks ranked in the same slots as last year.
Oro Valley's description mentioned the town's strong schools.
Sahuarita was noted for its low unemployment and crime rates.
Highlights for Marana included rising home values.
Number one on the list was Paradise Valley.
