TUCSON, Ariz. — Over 7,000 Tucson Electric customers are in the dark Wednesday night. According to TEP, there are several outages in the foothills, westside and eastside.
The outages started shortly after 5 p.m. and were mostly caused by monsoon storms in the area. Most power was restored by Thursday morning, but several hundred still didn't have power on Tucson's south side.
It is not know how long the outages will last.
Meanwhile, nearly 300 Trico customers in Green Valley lost power Thursday morning, but was quickly restored.
