Eighty teenagers being treated for cancer attended Dream Night Prom Saturday night.

This event provides a comfortable environment for students who are experiencing the effects of cancer treatment including hair loss, weight changes, and other physical challenges.

Receiving treatment often involves missing social activities including Prom. The foundation's goal is to help teens with cancer to experience this significant milestone.

One student who attended named Bethany explained why this is an experience she will never forget.

Some people are a little bit different, but sometimes they can't help the fact that they are. Something like this gives people the chance to just go out and be themselves and just have fun and not worry about what everyone else thinks, she said.
