Authorities say a suspect is facing a second-degree murder charge in the fatal shooting of another man in north Phoenix.
Police say the shooting occurred around 10 p.m. Sunday at an apartment complex and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the 47-year-old man hasn't been released yet.
Police say 41-year-old Matthew Brown was taken into custody within hours of the shooting.
They say Brown and the victim knew each other, but police didn't elaborate.
It was unclear Monday if Brown has a lawyer yet.
