TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - As President-Elect Donald Trump prepares to take over the White House, his team is revealing who will join him.
Steve Bannon has been chosen as Trump's chief strategist. Bannon has been a controversial appointment as he's a former investment banker who was the executive chairman of the conservative news organization Breitbart.
Bannon has ties to Arizona. He worked for Biosphere 2 in the early 1990's. Below is a CSPAN clip from 1995:
The early goal of Biosphere 2 was to test whether humans could sustain life in a sealed environment for two years. But as the Tucson Citizen had reported, the science project has a complicated history rife with lawsuits involving trespassing and breach of contract.
The Arizona Republic reported this summer that Bannon was accused of sexual harassment.
