The Consulate of Mexico and the State of Sonora are teaming up to help the victims of the deadly earthquake in Mexico.
They are accepting donations all week at the Arizona Fresh Foods market on 20th Street and Euclid. The address is 628 E. 20th St.
According to Marco Luzania, the Coordinator for the State of Sonora within Southern Arizona, so far they have collected several boxes of canned goods, hygiene products and cleaning supplies.
If you want to help out, you can donate the following:
- toilet paper
- hygiene supplies
- soap, shampoo
- razors
- toothbrushes and toothpaste
- diapers
- wet towels
- baby food
- canned food like tuna, sardines and canned vegetables

Water, clothes and medicine will not be accepted.
