TUCSON, Ariz. — Volunteers will weed, paint, and help with garden maintenance to support of children's nutrition Saturday.
The event is at the Pueblo Gardens PreK-8 School from 8:30 a.m. until 12 p.m.
The Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation awarded the Educational Enrichment Foundation which is part of a neighborhood grant for children's nutrition programs.
Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation works across 19 states where Sprouts stores operate to teach kids how to grow fresh fruits and vegetables in their community.
The goal of the foundation is to educate children a healthy and balanced regimen, and increase access to fresh foods.
The foundation ensures all funds raised go toward children's nutrition programs.
