TUCSON, Ariz. - A 53-year-old woman died Monday night after she was hit by a car while she was riding a bicycle in Sierra Vista.
Police say the wreck happened near South Highway 92 and Kachina Trail at 6:42 p.m. The victim was Laura Ann Snyder, who allegedly rode into the intersection when a gray four-door Honda sedan headed north on Highway 92 through a green light.
Snyder was pronounced dead at Canyon Vista Medical Center.
The driver of the Honda, a 23-year-old Sierra Vista resident, was cited for failing to wear corrective lenses.
