The main runway of the Sierra Vista Municipal Airport closed Monday morning due to a hard landing by an airplane.
According to the Sierra Vista city Facebook page, a one-passenger charter plane landed without its landing gear deployed.
The closure is in effect until heavy equipment removes the plane.
No one was injured.
