College football returns to Tucson this Saturday with the Arizona Wildcats taking on the BYU Cougars at 7:45 p.m.
With the return of football comes the return of Bear Down Fridays at Main Gate Square.
"It's like crazy. There's a bunch of stuff being set up, it's a lot of hype being built against BYU tomorrow. And I'm a freshman here this year and I had no idea that it was, like, this big of a deal down here," said freshman Christian Welsh.
The weekly Pep Rally begins tonight at 6:00 p.m. and will feature the Pride of Arizona Marching Band, UA Pom, Twirlers and Flags, UA Cheer and Tucsonan's favorite mascots Wilbur and Wilma.
Main Gate Square is located on University Boulevard between Park and Euclid on the east and west and by Second Street and Fourth Street on the north and south.
Drink and happy hour specials are available at restaurants in the area.
