Sewage backup has shut down a wing of an Oro Valley middle school Friday.
Amphitheater School District spokeswoman Amy Sharpe said the sixth grade wing of Wilson K-8, 2330 W. Glover, was closed early Friday morning. Students have been dispersed to other classrooms and school has continued as scheduled.
Sharpe said plumbing crews took care of the problem, and cleanup crews will have the building ready for use when school resumes March 21 after Spring Break, which begins after classes end Friday.
The school has 1,115 students.
