Tucson police will have an increased level of security at Tucson High School, 400 N. Second Ave., Friday after a suspicious message circulated throughout students. Tucson Unified School District officials tell KGUN that they no longer consider the message to be credible.
Police continue to investigate the messages, which also include Roskruge Bilingual K-8, 501 E. Sixth Street.
The message was circulating around on Twitter, Snapchat, and through text according to Sgt. Peter Dugan with TPD.
Police have spoken to TUSD security and will have additional officers at the school as a precautionary measure.
KGUN 9 reached out to TUSD but did not immediately get a response.
