SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. — Police in Sierra Vista arrested a man Monday morning in connection with shooting in the city earlier this year.
Demondra Heard, 25, is facing weapons charges and is booked in the Cochise County Jail.
Sierra Vista Police announced Friday they were looking for another person involved in a Feb. 26 shooting on the 100 block of El Camino Drive. Police say two witnesses at the shooting described the suspect at the time.
Last Tuesday, Police executed a search warrant at a house on Carmichael Avenue related to the investigation and arrested Sierra Vista resident Kevin Grayson on aggravated assault and drug charges.
On Monday morning, police say they were investigating an unrelated incident on South 3rd Street when they found Heard. He was arrested without incident and remains in custody.
