TUCSON, Ariz. - The Salvation Army hosted a community Easter breakfast this morning.
It's an annual event that is free and open to the public.
Food was served by volunteers at the hospitality house where local singers and dancers performed.
Glenda Avalos with the Salvation Army says, Easter is a holiday that brings people hope, and they want to share that with the community.
Avalos says, events like these give people who don't have family of their own a community to spend time with, and to make the holiday fun for the kids.
The Salvation Army had Easter baskets ready for people to take home.
