TUCSON, Ariz. — Salpointe Catholic High School on Friday renamed its gym after Tucson businessman George Kalil.
The owner of Kalil Bottling, Kalil donated $1 Million to Salpointe.
During the ceremony, Salpointe officially named the gymnasium as the Kalil Family Gymnasium and named the court Kalil Court.
Kalil’s donation will allow Salpointe to air condition to the gym, as well as renovate some of the athletic facilities on campus.
George Kalil was joined by family and friends during the reception.
