TUCSON, Ariz. — Tucsonans can ride the Sun Link streetcar for free this Friday night thanks to the Tucson Roadrunners.
The hockey team is sponsoring the free rides from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. so passengers can take the streetcar to the team's game against the San Diego Gulls.
The puck is scheduled to drop at 7:05 p.m. at the Tucson Convention Center.
If you're not planning on going to the game, you can still use the streetcar to get to virtually any downtown location.
"All Downtown visitors can park conveniently along the route and ride the streetcar to any destination within the districts, including: the University of Arizona, Main Gate Square, 4th Avenue, Downtown and Mercado District," Sun Tran said in a press release.
