La Paloma Academy on 12th and Drexel was placed on a temporary lockdown this afternoon after a report of a gun on campus.
According to Tucson Police Sgt. Kimberly Bay, it was an airsoft or BB gun.
The lockdown has been lifted and most students have been picked up or have gone home.
Officers are still on scene investigating and no one was injured.
