TUCSON, Ariz. - Multiple Tucson-area QuikTrip gas stations have run low on gas in the past few weeks.
According to QuikTrip spokesman Mike Thornbrugh, the outages have affected premium and mid-grade fuel. Regular unleaded gasoline supply has been ample.
"The sporadic outages we have had on premium and mid-grades product is a residual affect that the Tucson area has experienced the last 30 days," Thornbrugh said. "We are working with numerous partners within the industry to secure additional supply for our premium and mid-grade customers. We do believe the issue is short lived.”
Several Arizona Circle K locations had gas outages in March.
