A former prison guard was sentenced to 13 months in prison after being convicted of sexually abusing an inmate.
Donovan Begay, a 43-year-old from Menager's Dam, Ariz., committed the crimes while working as a Tohono O'odham Corrections Center officer in 2015. He engaged in sexual contact with an inmate on multiple occasions.
Gordon E. Davenport III prosecuted the case in federal court.
