Two people were stabbed at Mi Nidito Restaurant during an armed robbery Wednesday afternoon around 1:34 p.m.
According to the South Tucson Police Department, customers and employees attempted to apprehend the suspect after he pulled out a knife.
Both victims who were stabbed are alive. One suffered serious injuries to his leg.
The suspect was taken into custody by police.
The restaurant is now closed while police continue to investigate.
