Police are searching for a suspected shooter on the east side.
Tucson Police say it happened in the 1800 block of South Van Buren according to Sgt. Pete Dugan.
Dugan says one adult male was shot and taken to a local hospital for treatment. His injuries are life-threatening.
The call came in just before 8:15 on Tuesday night.
The main nearby cross streets are 22nd Street and Craycroft Road.
No suspect description is available yet.
