South Tucson police are looking for a man who allegedly took part in a Circle K armed robbery.

Police say the crime happened at 11:59 a.m. April 15 at the Circle K at 2004 S. 6th Ave.

The man stands between 5-4 and 5-8 and is thin with dark, medium-length hair.

Police say the man walked into the beer cooler when a clerk, who believed he was underage, confronted him. After a struggle, the suspect pulled out a 10-inch kitchen knife from his backpack.

One clerk went into the back room and locked the door, while the other backed away. The suspect jumped over the counter, knife in hand, and stuffed more than $100 worth of cigarettes into his backpack before running out of the store.

No one was injured.

Those with information should call 911 or 88-CRIME.
