TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson police say they have tracked down an armed man suspected of robbing an eastside McDonald's Friday.
Police found the man is at Sycamore Creek apartments, 1701 N. Wilmot Road.
Officers responded to the McDonald's at 6651 E. Tanque Verde Road Friday morning.
The man ran off on foot, and police conducted a search in area on Grant between Wilmot and Tanque Verde.
La Paloma Academy, a school located near the McDonald's, was placed on soft lockdown.
Motorists should avoid the area and take Speedway as an alternate.
Those with information should call 88-CRIME.
