Tucson police are looking for an armed and dangerous kidnapping suspect.

Police say 26-year-old Marco Herrera kidnapped his mother, 61-year-old Concepcion Fuentes, from the 1500 block of North Alamo Ave. Fuentes was found safe, but Herrera remains on the run.

At 2:30 p.m. Thursday, officers went to the home on a domestic violence call. Police say Herrera pointed a gun at Fuentes and forced her into a vehicle. He drove off and no one has heard from them since.

Police found the vehicle in the 5800 block of East 23rd Street.

Herrera is Hispanic, stands 5-11 and weighs 160 pounds.

Those with information should call 911.
