Tucson police have now identified the victim in a Wednesday homicide.
20-year-old David Alvarez was found by police in a parking lot at 1801 W. Ajo Way.
He had obvious signs of trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Alvarez has known gang affiliations, but police don't yet know if his death is gang-related.
Police don't know exactly what happened but said they know the homicide did not occur in the parking lot where Alvarez was found.
