Tucson police are investigating vandalism at an eastside church's daycare center.
Police say Living Hope Childcare Center at 7333 E. 22nd Street was vandalized.
Jane Petzer is the Director of the Living Hope Childcare Center. She says their playground sustained about $1,000 worth of damage. She says it happened late on Saturday.
Petzer says what happened is very frustrating because the playground is meant to be a "safe and great learning environment, but now it's just dangerous and a safety hazard" for the kids.
About 32 kids use the playground each day, but now, those kids are being forced to play in the inside lobby until the playground can be cleaned up and made safe again.
