PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a man who was fatally shot in north Phoenix.
Phoenix police officers responded to a shooting Monday night and found 32-yearpold Francisco Jaquez with multiple gunshot wounds.
Jaquez was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Investigators determined that Jaquez approached a man and demanded to use his cellphone.
After the man refused, Jaquez allegedly pulled out a pistol and struck the man.
Authorities say the man got out his own handgun and shot Jaquez, then drove to another location and called police to report the incident.
The name of the man hasn't been released yet and police say their investigation of the fatal shooting is ongoing.
