TUCSON, Ariz. — Tucson Police Department has arrested the resident involved in the deadly shooting near midtown that happened October 19.
Police have identified the resident as 22-year-old Gentry Megan McPherson.
Police say McPherson told them she found two men trying to break in and confronted them and shot both of them.
Police say 18-year-old Corey Teixeira died at the scene and 18-year-old Ali Mohamed died later at the hospital.
McPherson was arrested and booked into Pima County Jail Monday.
McPherson is facing four counts of possession of a dangerous drug for sale, possession of narcotic drugs for sale, four counts of possession of a firearm during a felony narcotic offense, possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana for sale, possession of ecstasy, and money laundering.
The investigation is still ongoing.
