Police arrest suspect in midtown homicide

TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson police arrested a man suspected of killing a man in midtown Feb. 5.

Police say 34-year-old James Harlen Jones killed Ruben Lemon near Dodge Boulevard and Fairmount Street.

Jones faces a count of first degree murder, a count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and a count of aggravated assault with a vehicle.

Gang detectives were originally investigating the incident, but they did not discover any gang involvement.
