Voter registration numbers have spiked over the past few weeks, according to Pima County Recorder F. Ann Rodriguez.

A push Tuesday for National Voter Registration day may have played a part in the 2,800 new registrations this week.

The recorder's office said another 5,000 people updated their registrations.

Voters must register by Tuesday, October 9th to vote in the general election.

Mail-in ballots will be sent out on October 10th.

Election day is November 6th.

To check your current registration visit recorder.pima.gov or call the office at 520-724-4330.
