TUCSON, Ariz. — The Pima County Sheriff's Department is seeing positive results one year after deputies began carrying NARCAN.
In January 2019, deputies started carrying the opioid-reversal spray, also known as Naloxone.

Since then, deputies have successfully administered 26 doses of NARCAN in the field, which resulted in 21 lives being saved.
The Arizona Department of Health Services is providing the drug to the Sheriff's Department for free.
