TUCSON, Ariz. — Fresh fruits and vegetables are up-for-grabs at a special University of Arizona event this week.
The university's Controlled Environment Agriculture Center is holding its first annual U-Pick Greenhouse Event at Tucson Village Farm.
Attendees can pick their own tomatoes, cucumbers, and lettuce.
The produce is available on a first come first serve basis and only cash or check is accepted.
There are two different times to attend:
- Tuesday June 4, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday, June 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Tucson Village Farm is located at 1951 E. Roger Road.
