Authorities have identified a pedestrian who was killed in a hit-and-run accident in northwest Phoenix and they're still searching for the car's driver.
Phoenix police say 27-year-old Joseph Schott was pronounced dead at the scene Friday night.
They say Schott was crossing 35th Avenue mid-block when he was struck by a luxury vehicle.
Police say the vehicle involved would have some damage to the front.
They're asking for any witnesses to the collision so the driver and vehicle can be located.
