Original Story
The Pima County Sheriff's Department says two deputies and a suspect were shot near Overton Road and Kanawha Street.
According to PCSD, they responded to a domestic incident just before 7:30 p.m. Thursday night. Shortly after, they say the deputies who responded and the suspect were hurt in an officer involved shooting.
"Additional deputies were able to respond and secure the scene, allowing Northwest Fire Department personnel to arrive on scene and provide life saving measures to both the subject as well as the deputies involved," said Adam Schoonover in a press conference late Thursday evening.
All three people were taken to the hospital for further treatment, but PCSD did not say the extent of their injuries.
"There's no danger to the community and the sheriff's department is not looking for any outstanding subjects," Schoonover said.
They say the Pima Critical Incident Care Team has been activated and is investigating along side the Tucson Police Department.
