The Pima County Sheriff's Department responded to a report of a neighbor stating his mother died.
The incident occurred on Oct. 3 around 2 a.m.
Deputies found an unresponsive woman with obvious signs of trauma.
She was identified as 71-year-old Deborah Williams and was pronounced dead at the scene.
During the investigation, 33-year-old Nicholas Salisbury, Deborah’s son was arrested.
Salisbury was charged with Second Degree Murder and booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Complex.

Pima County Sheriff's deputies investigated a suspicious death at a mobile home park Monday.
According to a PCSD spokesperson, the scene was at La Colonia Mobile Home & RV Park, 2384 W. Diamond Street.
