PCSD arrest suspect involved in armed robbery

TUCSON, Ariz. - Pima County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery, Thursday.

Deputies were called to the area near Continental Road and Abrego Drive in Green Valley around 3:50 p.m.

Upon arrival deputies learned three individuals were reported to have robbed a woman at gunpoint.

Officials say, after the reported incident the suspects fled the scene. They were seen leaving in a red Nissan Pathfinder traveling toward Interstate 19.

Deputies alerted local law enforcement.

Department of Public Safety Troopers located a vehicle that matched the description traveling northbound on I-19. DPS Troopers pursued the car to the exit on Valencia Road.

The suspects left the vehicle near the area of Drexel Road and Missiondale Road.

Officials found the vehicle and two suspects in the area.

The suspects were detained by DPS.

Detectives responded to the incident for further investigation.

Officials say, probable cause developed to arrest 36-year-old Enrique Olivarria for armed robbery, possession of narcotic drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.

The investigation is ongoing. There is no further information at this time.
