A teenage girl was approached by a strange man at her bus stop Friday morning, according to Oro Valley Police.
It happened at around 8 a.m. Police say an older man with white hair, wearing a white t-shirt and driving a white Toyota Prius approached a 15-year-old girl waiting for the bus at the intersection of La Cholla Boulevard and Limewood Drive, just north of Tangerine Road.
The girl said the man asked her if she wanted a ride, but she refused and he drove away. The girl's mother was waiting in a car down the road and witnessed the interaction. Officers searched the area for the man but didn't see him.
