The Amphitheater Unified School District may have a new superintendent soon.
The governing board voted unanimously to enter negotiations with Todd Jaeger.
Jaeger is currently the general counsel to Tucson Unified School District governing board.
The Amphi school board is expected to vote on his appointment on April 18.
TUSD's Abel Morado was also in the running for Amphi superintendent.
