TUCSON, Ariz. - Cities across Southern Arizona are changing their recycling programs.
Sierra Vista is moving to a drop-off based recycling system July 1, and is teaming up with Ace Hardware to stage a contest that encourages people to reuse their blue bins.
Competitors will post new uses for the bins on social media using the #renewyourblue hashtag.
Winners will receive Ace Hardware gift cards.
