South Tucson Police Department released body camera footage from one of their officers involved in a deadly shooting last month on the southside.
The shooting happened outside the Gospel Rescue Mission the day after Thanksgiving.
In the video you can see an officer moving towards 26-year-old Carlos Valencia. At one point you hear officers yelling for Valencia to get on the ground.
South Tucson Police say when they showed up, Valencia was physically attacking and charging at officers.
South Tucson Police Chief Michael Ford says officers first used pepper spray, then used a taser to get him to stop. He says when Valencia didn't cooperate, officers shot him.
Valencia was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Sgt. Detective Bryce Gardner says they will be releasing additional details and more footage after the investigation concludes.
Gardner would not release the names of the two officers involved, but says they are back on duty.
