Police have identified one of the three people killed in a head-on collision on State Route 90 from Tuesday afternoon.
Corporal Tim Wachtel with the Sierra Vista Police Department says witnesses reported that a 2005 Red Mitsubishi SUV drifted into oncoming traffic while traveling eastbound. The vehicle then collided with a 2004 Black Chevrolet pickup truck that was traveling westbound.
The driver of the SUV was identified as 49-year-old Timothy David Straight of Huachuca City.
The identities of the driver and passenger of the pickup truck have not yet been released pending next of kin notification, said Wachtel.
The investigation into the collision is still ongoing, but early indications show that neither vehicle was traveling at excessive speed.
