Multi-agency effort arrests 16 in drug case

TUCSON, Ariz. - The Cochise County Sheriff's Office led a multi-agency raid that led to 16 arrests connected to drug crimes in Cochise and Pima Counties.

According to CCSO, raids targeted homes in Tucson, Sahuarita, Naco and St. David. The Drug Enforcement Administration, Pima County Sheriff's Department, Sierra Vista police, Tucsonpolice, Douglas police were all involved.

Seven SWAT teams, three helicopters and more than 150 law enforcement officials took part in the raids.

Agencies seized cash, stolen vehicles, 250 THC vape oil vials, 1.5 pounds of heroin and 500 oxycodone tablets.

Suspectsarrested included Timothy Fancis Henry, 50, of Sierra Vista; Raymond Herbert Thacker, 53, of Tucson, Timothy Arthur Evicci, 47, of St. David; Rebekah Leigh Fernandez, 42, of St. David; Jamie Rene Leza, 58, of Sierra Vista; Jesus Ernesto Loreto, 43, of Bisbee; David Matthew Bailey, 43, of Tucson; Jesse Jonas Lee Valenzuela, 33, of Tucson; Amanda Miranda, 52, of Tucson; Eric Ernesto Lopez, 44, of Tucson and Jose J. Pro, 38, of Sierra Vista.
