Authorities are responding to the intersection of Oracle and Orange Grove for a report of a motorcycle accident.
Capt. Brian Keeley, a spokesman for the Northwest Fire District, says the accident involved a motorcycle and a passenger car in the intersection.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 50's, was transported by paramedics to the hospital with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.
The single occupant of the passenger car was transported by paramedics to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Department of Public Safety is investigating the collision.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
