Police are investigating a deadly northside hit and run Friday.
Police closed Prince Road between Flowing Wells and Fairview for a time after the accident, but the road has reopened.
Officers arrived at the scene in the 1100 block of West Prince Road just after 11 p.m. Thursday. Randy W. Herzog, 59, was hit by a vehicle and pronounced dead shortly after being transported to the hospital.
Police say Herzog was trying to cross southbound across West Prince Road and was either in or near the crosswalk when he was hit.
Those with information should call 911 or 88-CRIME.
