Border Patrol agents seized more than 2 tons of marijuana found in two commercial shipments in Nogales, Arizona last week.
Agents discovered nearly 1,700 pounds of marijuana, worth an estimated $838,000 on February 25th at the Mariposa Commercial Facility.
The marijuana was hidden in the roof of a tractor-trailer loaded with corn.
Three days later, on February 28th, Border Patrol agents found more marijuana, worth almost $1.5 million.
Both drivers, identified as Mexican nationals, were arrested and turned over to Homeland Security Investigations.
