Spokesperson Sierra Boyer says with rec centers being closed for nearly a year, they are excited to get services out to the community.
“To get people outdoors where they can physically distance, we can clean the equipment and be safe about it. Just to get people out and moving and socializing again, but safely outdoors,” she said.
The program launches tomorrow at Rudy Garcia Park at 1 pm. Boyer says it was made possible with CARES Act Funding.
