A lot of us have seen the movie and maybe teared up a bit, but now's your chance to meet the award-winning author of a Disney's"Coco" companion book, Roni Capin Rivera-Ashford.

On Thursday, Oct. 11, the Nogales native will be attending a Dia de los Muertos event happening at the McDonald's on 22nd St. and Randolph from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Rivera-Ashford wrote the book with her son and it's considered a companion book to accompany the movie. The story includes some of the main characters and is called "Miguel and the Amazing Alebrijes."

On top of meeting the author, there's going to be a book reading, book sales, fun activities, and you're encouraged to dress up, too.

The Ronald McDonald House of Southern Arizona will receive 20 percent of all sales during the event.
