Young Marana students are honoring those who lost their lives in an attack 17 years ago.
Coyote Trail Elementary School students put up their annual display of dozens of flags around the school grounds. The flags honor those who lost their lives in the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
Students wore red, white and blue and had the opportunity to post flags on school fences and gates in recognition of Patriot Day. The flags will remain on display through Tuesday's holiday.
